Ardmore is a distillery near Kennethmont, Aberdeenshire in Scotland and thus belongs to the Highland distilleries. Ardmore mainly produces for blends, especially Teacher’s. Ardmore has been part of Beam Global since 2014.
The Group focused on consistent water management at an early stage. Ardmore, which draws its water from springs on Knockandy Hill, is a good example of the sustainable use of this limited resource.
The Ardmore 11 year old is the first bottling from PURE.WHISKY. on the market. The maturation in a smaller Laphroaig Oloroso Sherry Quarter Cask promises intense and complex aromas:
Nose: Campfire smoke, soaked fruitcake, blood orange and burnt caramel
Taste: Velvety with a hint of smoke, milk chocolate, candied orange peel, salted liquorice
Finish: Full and long with an aftertaste of aniseed
